Pledex Group

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Pledex Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Data Controller

Pledex Group is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR. You can contact us at hello@pledexgroup.com or by post at Pledex Group, United Kingdom.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact form submissions: name, company, email address, telephone number, project type and message content.
  • Website usage data: pages visited, time on site, referral source, approximate location and device type — collected via Google Analytics 4, but only when you have granted analytics consent via our cookie banner.
  • IP address: collected when you submit a website form, for fraud prevention and security purposes.
  • Business contact data: for B2B outreach, we process publicly available company and decision-maker contact information (name, job title, business email address) to send relevant commercial communications about our services.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent: website analytics (via cookie consent) and B2B marketing emails (with opt-out).
  • Contractual necessity: processing enquiry submissions to respond to your request for a consultation or quote.
  • Legitimate interests: B2B outreach using publicly available business contact data, and IP address collection for security.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide consultations, quotes and services.
  • To send relevant B2B outreach about our asset intelligence services (you can opt out at any time).
  • To analyse website usage and improve our services (only with your analytics consent).
  • To maintain records for audit, accounting and legal compliance purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party processors (Google Workspace for email, Google Analytics 4 for website analytics) under appropriate data processing agreements, and where required by law.

6. Data Retention

Website enquiry data is retained for the duration of the business relationship plus six years for accounting and legal compliance. B2B outreach data is retained until you opt out or request deletion. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google’s retention settings.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pledexgroup.com.

8. International Transfers

Some processors (Google) may transfer data outside the UK. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements and UK adequacy regulations to protect your data.

9. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics only. See our Cookie Policy for details. You can control cookies via our cookie banner and your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
